OHIO HAFLINGER ASSOC. 2008 DRIVES & FUN DAYS May Drive - May 3rd at 9:30 am Mahlon and Mary Miller will be hosting the drive at Kandels RV Park at 5552 State Route 515 in Millersburg, OH   44654.  The drive is approximately 15-20 miles and riders are welcome.  All horses should have shoes, as there are some gravel roads.  Bring a sack lunch for your noon break, mid-way through the drive.  Camping is available the night before by reservation only (no barn, round pen is available).  RSVP required:  Mahlon Miller (330) 893- 3351 by April 25th.  Dinner will be at approximately 4:00 pm, bring a covered dish to share (hot meal items provided).   Orwell Drive – July 26th at :9:00 am David Miller will be hosting the drive at 3724 New Hudson Road in Orwell, OH.  Riders are welcome.  Camping is available the night before.   Bring a sack lunch for your noon break, mid-way through the drive.  RSVP required:   David Miller at (440) 437-1078 home or (440) 343-0688 work by July 16th.  Dinner will be at approximately 3:30 pm, bring a covered dish to share (hot meal items provided). Fun Days – August 2nd at 9:00 am Mervin and Barbara Miller will be hosting this year’s Fun Days event at 6156 Zuercher Road in Apple Creek, OH 44606.  There will be a short two hour drive in the morning.  Riders are welcome.  The afternoon will include fun and games.  Bring a sack lunch to enjoy while watching the games.   Dinner to be held at approximately 5:00 pm, bring a covered dish to share (hot meal items provided).   Labor Day Drive – August 30th at 10:00am Atlee Miller & Family will be hosting the drive at Winklepleck Grove (1.5 miles north of Sugarcreek) The drive is 17 miles; riders are welcome.  Bring a sack lunch for your noon break, mid-way through the drive.  Camping is available the night before – Note:  There is no horse shelter in the Grove.  RSVP required: Atlee Miller (330) 852- 1445 mailbox #3 by August 25th.  Dinner will be at approximately 3:30 pm, bring a covered dish to share (hot meal items provided). Fall Drive – October 4th at 10:00am Jacob J. Yoder’s - Valley View Acres will be hosting the drive at 28436 Mickley Road Danville, OH  43014. The drive is 15 miles; riders are welcome.  Bring a sack lunch for your noon break, mid-way through the drive.
